I have spent the weekend (and most of last week) fund raising for my children’s school by helping to organise the school’s Summer Fair.

If you have read the “About Family Guide” page you will know my family are number one in my life and I suggest that anyone who values their children’s education get involved with their school as much as they can. This is my first year as a committee member of the PTA and I didn’t realise just how much hard work it is. . .

One of the things I have learned is that there are many people out there with the same interests and they want to improve their family life as much as I do. That is why I have created a new face book group called “Dad’s of the world unite!”

There were so many groups saying “I love my Mum!” and “Mum’s the best!” etc, which I agree with, but nothing to celebrate being a Dad and all the responsibility that goes with it.
